NATE certified technicians must prove their knowledge of HVACR systems by passing NATE certification tests. These tests contain topics relevant to contractors, educators, and manufacturers, and are developed by a committee of leading industry experts. To pass these rigorous tests, technicians must demonstrate their understanding of working HVACR systems and be able to tackle real-world challenges.
